Markscheffel is an active UK Registered HSE Health & Safety Executive Commercial Deep Sea Diver holding a Part 1 (Offshore), a Part 3 (Inshore) and Part 4 (Professional Scuba) qualification.

In addition to his Commercial Diving Credentials he is also a qualified Recreational PADI OWSI Scuba Instructor, an Emergency First Aid Response Instructor, a Rescue Diver and a Divemaster.
